Today I was playing a new game Labyrinth. Its strategic game where you try to get as much treasure as you can.

I played against my 9 year old cusin. I lost, of course  ^___^

I like the fact, that todays games are more like this...you have to think hard, so it kind of exercise the brain.

But I also like the games we used to play as children with my sister. We made our own games. In fact, I can't remember one single game, but I can remember making them.

We made the map. That was the most important. It had vulcano, desert, garage...the treasure was hidden somewhere in the pond...

When the map was made, we rumpled the paper and made it look dirty...we used soil or mud. We tore some corners so it looked reeaaly old...

After that fabulous map was made, our granny usually called us for lunch and after lunch we played house or like that...>.< so we never used that map...but we always had a map..and lots and lots of funny ideas.  ^___^'

We also made some table games. We drew the plan....the path from start to the finish....and we decided where should the figures stop and why..if they returned to start or not...

I can't remember even one from these either...but I know we used one game we had at home as an example...It was called AN AFTERNOON IN ZOO or somethink like that. It was real plan of Prague ZOO and on the way you had to answer questions about the animals in that zoo...like how many gorillaz are in that zoo, or what do icebears eat and stuff.

it was quite educating....

I miss those goood old times...
